Staten Island Home featured in The Godfather Is Now an Airbnb.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of “The Godfather,” Airbnb is offering fans of the iconic film franchise the chance to book the Staten Island mansion used for the exterior shots of the 1972 classic.
The 6,248-square-foot home, located at 110 Longfellow Avenue, will be available for the whole month of August, where up to five guests will have private access to the mansion that was home to Vito Corleone.
The posting on Airbnb describes the home as a ‘charming but expansive’ property that has undergone renovations fit for a Don.
While the 1930-built exterior looks much as it did in the film, the interior has been updated with modern touches.
Amenities include an English pub-inspired bar in the basement, a game room, a gym, two fireplaces, and a large saltwater pool in the backyard. A charming old stone wall borders the property.
“During your stay, guests will have private access to the grandeur of our mansion, including five bedrooms and seven bathrooms that are most suitable for two adults and three children,” according to the listing description.
“We also have plenty of activities and amenities onsite, including a large saltwater pool, a pub in the basement, a game room, and a gym.”
The house will be available for a 30-night Airbnb booking at $50 per night.
Potential guests will have to set their alarms for 1:00 p.m. EDT on July 27 when Airbnb makes the listing public.
